James E. Curran is a veteran Wealth Advisor who advocates for the clients he serves.  James began his career over seventeen years ago with the goal of enhancing the financial advisory experience by listening, learning and building a plan of action for clients tailored to help them realize their financial goals.

James has a pragmatic approach to investment advice and financial planning which allows him to partner with his clients, many of whom have a myriad of challenges to address over a finite timeline.  His ability to assist in the financial prioritization process, based on his experience sets him apart from others in the industry.  Prior to partnering with LPL Financial and Northstar Wealth Partners in the independent channel, James spent six years as a Senior Wealth Advisor with Merrill Lynch.  Before that he was affiliated with Smith Barney where he began his career, served as a Second Vice President, earned the Financial Planning Specialist designation and was the recipient of several Blue Chip Council honors.
