Julie Connelly is the Director of Financial Operations & Human Resources for Northstar Wealth Partners. She has over 20 years of experience in the finance and human resources sectors. She has successfully worked in in a variety of industries inclusive of corporate finance and tax, healthcare, construction, and banking. In her current role, Julie is responsible for managing the firm’s day to day finance operations for their growing number of experienced wealth advisors, as well as proactively administrating the human resources function for the firm at large. She establishes and maintains the firm’s policies and procedures, all while integrating comprehensive financial and personnel record management and electronic maintenance.
Julie has an exceptional work ethic and client service focus that sets her apart from others in her industry. She is process driven, while always striving to create efficiencies that align with firm-wide objectives. She stays current with technological advancements that continually expand in her areas of expertise, and strives to consistently raise the benchmark in implementing these solutions as appropriate in the achievement of the organization’s goals. She has a reputation for building and maintaining a team environment where employees experience value and respect, as they work collectively to make a difference in the lives of the clients they serve. Prior to joining Northstar Wealth Partners in 2013, Julie was affiliated with a number of well-known and respected Connecticut based companies including O&G Industries, Inc. and In Vitro Sciences, Inc. a subsidiary of Women’s Health USA.
She is a proud graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1999. Julie is a native of the northwest hills of Connecticut, where she resides with her husband and three children.
